About LSB Online
LSB Online is an online portal where you can apply for a practising certificate, or renew a current practising certificate (PC). You can also update your details.
Before you can apply for a PC you need to register an account for LSB Online. Simply click the link below and select 'Register' from the LSB log-in screen. You will need your Practitioner Number or the date you were admitted to register..
If you have a current PC, you already have an existing account. Your Practitioner Number is your username. If you have forgotten your password you can reset this below.
Practising certificate renewal fees and payment
Our legislation does not permit us to waive or reduce the fee for PC renewal, nor are we able to extend the time frame for renewal or take instalment payments. However, we appreciate that some lawyers are under financial pressure at this time and we are working on other measures we can take to support you during this difficult time.
Removal of surcharge for late PC renewals
You have until 30 June, 2020 to renew without penalty.
What you need to do to renew
If you are able to renew your practising certificate now, please do so below. If you are suffering significant financial hardship and believe you will not be able to renew your PC - including paying the fee - by 30 June, please wait for our PC renewal email later next week with more information before renewing.
