The Costs Support program provides free, confidential and voluntary help for lawyers and law practices to improve how they explain costs to clients and comply with their obligations under the Uniform Law.
Many complaints we receive about lawyers are about costs. But many of these complaints can be avoided if costs are clearly explained to the client. Time invested in proper cost disclosure fosters a healthier client relationship and avoids time spent resolving costs disputes.
