Law Week is an annual public event run by the Victoria Law Foundation.   

This year we are looking forward to connecting with members of the community at a free event hosted by Manningham City Council, where our expert staff will be providing practical information to the public about: 

• how to find and work with a lawyer 
• legal costs 
• what to do if they have problems with their lawyer 
• how to make a complaint. 

Register to attend this event on Thursday 14 May, from 6pm to 8pm. We’ll be answering questions from 7pm.  

Our team will be providing practical information about our role as the regulator, guidance on how to engage legal services and advice on what to do if they have problems with their lawyer.  

We’ll be joined by legal and social services, including Justice Connect and Eastern Community Legal.
