Unsatisfactory professional conduct under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Vic)

Orders Pursuant to section 299(1) of the Uniform Law the Victorian Legal Services Commissioner finds that the Respondent has engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct and makes the following orders 1. Pursuant to section 299(1)(b) of the Uniform Law the Respondent is reprimanded. 2. Pursuant to section 299(1)(e) of the Uniform Law the Respondent must complete three additional continuing professional development (CPD) units in the area of ethics and professional responsibility in the 2025-26 CPD year (i.e. in addition to the standard CPD requirements under the Legal Profession Uniform Continuing Professional Development (Solicitors) Rules 2015 which include a requirement to complete at least ten CPD units in a practising year at least one of which must be in the area of ethics and professional responsibility). As such the Respondent must complete a total of at least 13 CPD units in the 2025-26 CPD year at least four of which must be in the area of ethics and professional responsibility.
