New study invites lawyers to share their views on wellbeing and workplace culture

Researchers from the Australian National University and the University of Melbourne, with support from the Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner (VLSB+C) and key legal regulatory bodies interstate, have launched a new study into lawyer wellbeing, workplace culture and ethics.

Lawyers practising under the Uniform Law Scheme in New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia are encouraged to participate by completing a confidential, anonymous survey by Friday 1 March 2024. The survey was recently distributed via email to all registered lawyers in these states and is also accessible here.

This presents an opportunity for lawyers to directly influence change. Your valuable insights will shape evidence-based initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of wellbeing within the legal profession. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and further details can be found by following the provided link. The results will be shared later in the year.
