Experienced practitioners wanted for Legal Practice Mentors list
October 19, 2016
The Victorian Legal Services Board & Commissioner is seeking to list experienced Legal Practice Mentors.
The Board and Commissioner seek an indication from experienced practitioners potentially available to be appointed to the paid role of Mentor to assist another legal practitioner. Willing Legal Practice Mentors will be listed for selection by lawyers who have been required to engage a Mentor. The legal practitioner will select, pay and notify their preferred Mentor. The length of each engagement depends on the terms of any VCAT or court order, or a license condition imposed by the Board and Commissioner. Engagements may last months or can extend over more than one year. Each engagement is confidential and personal, requiring contact with practitioners to assist them with legal practice, regulatory compliance and practice management.
Please send your details to Shirley Joseph, Manager Practitioner Services, firstname.lastname@example.org by close of business 11 November 2016 if you wish to be listed as a potential Legal Practice Mentor.
