University to explore communication in justice system

Researchers from Federation University Australia have received funding from the Victorian Legal Services Board to explore the requirements of people with complex communication needs when interacting with the criminal and civil justice system.
“Access to justice, particularly for people with disabilities, is a growing concern throughout the legal community and beyond,” Dr Margaret Camilleri, Lecturer in Criminal Justice, said.
